Maybe we hit a bad day? It happens.
I didn't see much in there that was bad - your main dish was great and his main dish was good - other than chips and tea. Chips are never going to make it or break it for me.

5th and 3rd, next to Cuzamil, yes that is the place that was gutted and people working in it because Cielito was our intended destination one evening.

Thanks for the report! I agree with you about Casa Cuzamil. The pico was mostly onions with the rare tomato or jalapeno, mole was just meh. I hear good things about Casa Mexicana, but was always worried about street noise. Glad to know it was overall peaceful. In order to get to the dive boat did you take a cab to the marina?

We took a taxi each morning to the dive shop (very close to Tikila and Casa del Mar). I think the stated rate was $100 pesos. Not sure if it would be the same to Fonatur or not.

@Kimela are you still enjoying diving with Jungle Divers? I liked doing a shore night dive at Tikila with them, and doing centote dives on the mainland with them too, but I believe for 2-tank boat dives they still have a 6 hour schedule (something like 9 or 9:30 to 3:00, right?) that includes lunch on the boat, but does not work for us when we travel with non-divers also.

Is that a juvi frog fish at 1:20?

Great pics

Loved the jawfish photo (think most great behavior photos require some luck along with a lot of patience ). I was also going to ask about what looks like a white frog fish.

Thanks for posting . Are you using a TG6? I can’t remember for certain. You had mentioned focus issues , are using a target/spot auto focus for photos ? I use other cameras so don’t recall for TG6, but I have use some sort of spot autofocus for all photos. You might have even been talking about video focus, but figured I would try to help.

Thanks again for posting

Yes, we're still diving with them. It's just the two of us, so having our days revolve around diving works. Stef's great for the shore dives - he loves finding stuff too.

Thanks for the report. Great scuba video (pics!)

Thanks, that is a dwarf frogfish. I found the entry in the reef guide - it's the smallest of the frogfish and this one was about 2 cm long.
