I just came back from Tiger Beach. Will write up this incredible trip report soon. During our last dive 4 Tiger Sharks showed up, including Emma, below:

When visibility is limited, watch out! Glad we had Finch & Ryan to wrangle and control the teething 9’ puppy, Empada.

Did you also go to Bimini to see Hammerheads?

To the best of my recollection, prime time to see Great Hammerhead Sharks off of Bimini is in the winter months. I’ve only visited there in January and February while looking for these magnificent fish and have yet to be disappointed. I’ve also been to Bimini in summer but had no intention nor expectation of encountering Hammerheads during those visits.

No. That’ll be my next trip. It’ll be a longer trip.

Anyone would go for that trip, please let me know. I & a couple other friends would join you.

From Dolphine Dream Website, for example, it’ll be the 8 night trip, like the Jan 22-30, 2022.

Speaking of hammerhead, we saw one from the distance, that could be Patches. However I couldn’t keep my eyes off the 3 Tiger Sharks (Teething Empada, Daisy & Maui) that were circling us at the time.

Scarlet didn't show up?

Not in our site. Even Emma only showed up on the last dive. There was another liveaboard. Maybe Scarlet was with the other liveaboard, Shearwater.
Yeah, they most likely shuttle between the boats.

How do you ID Scarlet, other that the small clipped of its dorsal fin tip?

So far we saw only female Tiger Sharks there. Have you seen some of the male Tiger Sharks there?

Nope, not a single male. Scarlet was our always in the arena star, others came and went. Scarlet has one nip (notch) on her dorsal fin, otherwise she looks brand new. Here is a picture of an unidentified Tiger who visited us briefly. Note some deformation (scar?) of the gills and several notches on her dorsal fin:
