Oh, why is that?
well
he's intellectually dishonest as evidenced by reams of SB discussion about deep stops and his flawed database of "successful" dives

he may be a talented programmer but he doesnt actually understand physiology (there's pages of rebuttal to his positions here none of which he ever accepted as legitimate)

I suspect if someone found a flaw in multideco he would claim it was a feature not a bug

So does that mean we shouldn't trust the information MultiDeco gives us?
His database is a self reported set of dive profiles of all varieties and types that he uses as "evidence" that deeps stops work. Except that there is nothing about the actual outcome of those dives. Half of them could have resulted in a chamber ride for all we know, there is zero medical information, not even doppler measurements, associated with them.

So basically they are completely useless and irrelevant. And have nothing to do with his (adept) implementation of buhlmann via multideco

Ok but if you don't want to do deep stops you set the GFLow so you don't right?
The deep stop bickering was mostly about VPM not buhlmann. Multideco has both

PS Deep stops do not work. Ross was the one arguing they work which is why I put "evidence" in quotes. There is no evidence they work, and his database is not evidence of anything.

The V-Planner Live / MultiDeco online data base holds dive records (157,000) that were uploaded from Liquivision X1 and HeinrichsWeikamp DR5 dive computers. These are submitted by divers from around the world, by retrieving the dive logs from their dive computer. This data is not filtered and it is presented as it's received from the diver's computer.

Divers were also able to submit dive status reports to the DAN PDE program via the dive log manager. The PDE contained over 200,000 dive reports when it ceased collection in 2017. Our divers submitted 6,970 original dive reports to PDE. Only two of those reports contained issues.

Welcome back Ross

That you only have 2 reported "issues" in over 6,970 dives with any kind of outcome data at all defies belief, truly amazing.

I like DivePlan2, its free for basic nitrox, then costs about £8-9 or so for the all singing all dancing version. It matches very close to DecoPlanner for GUE types, and has a really useful feature that gives you amount of gas consumed on the planned dive if you set your cylinder size and SCR. Its worked for me down to 55m or so for matching to my computer on my wrist nicely.

I've just downloaded the full version. Is ther a way to add tanks to the program? I dive sidemount with 2 x 80 alu. I see only s80 in the configuration. Thanks in advance :)

Thanks so much. Where can you add other tank sizes? I see the drop down (D10, D12 s80 etc) but not where I can add other tank sizes. Is there a help menu in the program?
