I've been using the DiverLog+ app on my android tablet. It's time for a new tablet so I transferred the data from one to the other. Everything went over just fine except the "buddies" part. I couldn't get any of them to transfer.

I contacted Pelagic Pressure Systems asking how to do so and they said look in the Terms of Service as for privacy they don't allow the transfer of buddies. I read through the terms and couldn't find a thing about that. I asked again where it said that and if there is a file of all the dives. They emailed back the terms of service and that was it.

I'd rather not go through all of my dives and have to add back in my buddies, it's only 120 dives or so, but that's still a lot to have to redo. I tried looking for an export option, but it seems the only one is to go between the tablets.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get my dives with my "buddies"? If not where is the dive file on the tablet? I have looked but I'm guessing it's hidden somewhere and it's been a long time since I've played around in a non windows file system.

Is there a good dive log for android? I've seen the Subsurface and people say it's good. It's probably a good idea to go with a new system if I get a new computer in the future which is a good possibility.

Connect your talbe to your PC and go to this folder:

Internal Storage\Android\data\com.pelagicnet.diverlogplus

There is all the app internal data, but it might be hidden further. You can also try to sync to their Windows software. My app can import their logbook file if you're able to retrieve it.

Thanks. I will look in to this. I only have it on a tablet and not on my PC. I asked again where the info was located and if I could export it and told me how to go between their own app and that's it.
