Shut yo mouth!

My club will not allow two in a cart! You can ride solo, or walk...and no touching the flag..ball washers removed...establishment must make it work...

make you pay a premium for single carts.

I've never seen a mask on the two people in every cart

The courses around me have no ball washers and the pin stays in the cup. Water coolers are out at one course I play - not at others. People rode 2 to a cart early on - then it went to 1 per cart - but it is back to 2 now. A request for a solo cart is $10 at one course. Another course put a shield between the driver/passenger side, but removed it when restrictions eased. I've yet to see any masks on people who share a cart although women are more likely to wear masks in the parking lot than men.

I figure it would be the same in Coz or wherever one travels - some will do the right thing and some won't.

Hospital capacity - there's a limit. Maybe they'll just stop admitting people and let them die at home in quest for the almighty tourist dollar.

Chetumal was in the mid 70% occupancy rate when they sent them back to red so they've sorta set a benchmark.

They've talked about shipping hospital patients from here to Playa or Cancun.

You see the increase in the last 30 days, what's it look like to you? Do we have another 45 or 60 days to go before we're approaching 80%?

Just like back there in the US, it isn't getting any better here. I stood in TelCel for 45 minutes today watching all the employees wearing all the protective stuff, I wonder how much they're wearing a mask back when they're at home sitting outside with all the neighbors - I can tell you, for the most part, they aren't. If you get here, get in a cab and go for a drive back where everyone lives, during the day and after dark..

Tell me what we're doing differently today, than we weren't doing 30 days ago.....

Looks like a tick down from 7/12 to 7/19...maybe the trend is changing? I’m an optimist.

I honestly hope but reality is about to smack us in the face down here - there was 6 more active cases on 7/19 verses 7/12 and three more today. It's not spiking, it's just gradually driving up there...

Our death rate was at 19% and has dropped to the high 12's so they are testing more. Chetumal is the huge problem that does skew the state numbers but regardless, the individual city numbers just keep gradually climbing. I'm not sure what the hope or plan is, maybe they think we'll slow down business wise in September....

When you stretch the numbers out, September sometime is closing time at the current rate..........

Or they'll just do what the USA is doing. Suck up the casualties and keep smiling.

People, and governments, are out of money.

How many ICU beds on the island? How many open?

A dip from 60% to 55% is hardly a trend. Maybe some of those people didn't make it to the hospital?

Some are. One US Governor today said that kids will get sick, but they'll get over it. Not always true tho, and how much will that push the spread? Pathetic.
