My venture into Sidemount.

Okay, all you smart peeps -- You can see how the little Tusa is mounted . . . How the heck do I mount that monster Intova Ultra?

It's darned hard to get that bicycle tubing around it. Is there such a thing as a light holster? I could put it under the wing, on the waist band.

Ideas?

I am actually not using innertube, I am using fuel tubing for RC cars. I can tie it to any size I need and it leaves me a little tab to be able to pull on to slip the light into it. If you would like I can send you a length of it.

You should be able to find it in one. Ask for fuel tubing and they should know what it is, I believe that what I have is 1/8" i.d. I cannot confirm that right now, but the outside diameter is 1/4"

I have the remnants of a large roll of it from putting together some RC airplanes.

Would it be possible to get a weight belt keeper onto the harness under the QR? Then just get some Bungee cord and tie a loop that is secured in place by the keeper. I use that method on my Hog harness, since it keeps me from having to take my harness apart every few months and replace innertubes.
