Patti said they were pleased with the response (i.e. units sold at DEMA). I also noticed another mfg from Italy that had a CO unit for sale. I think the Analoz is a better unit from the form factor and technological view point.
Great, altho I would like to see the Italian unit. I don't know if Analox can serve everywhere in the world, and just maybe for some locations the other unit would be an alternate choice.

I've read that the UK lowered their max ppm allowed and the mainland was considering doing so. They've been using those vague color coded test kits.

I'm cynic enough that I'll keep testing my tanks even if I see an Analox Clear monitor on the compressor as I can't be there to watch my tank filled.

What was/is the price at Dema?

I should have added that both sensors (O2EII and EIICO) both fit into the little Pelican box that comes with the O2EII. IZTOK the retail price has not been determined yet (Not sure if it is appropriate for me to post the intro DEMA price).

Now that's neat. I guess you have to lose the fitted foam and maybe replace with enough bubble wrap, or modify it?

The Dema price would be a dealer price anyway, but you can order it now for $289.95...!! :eyebrow:

From Leisure Pro: Amoxtec Carbon Monoxide Analyzer

Scuba Toys: Scuba Gear and Dive Equipment with reviews on sale

Altho I do not know if either really has it in stock and ready to ship?

Yes, lose the foam. No bubble wrap as the case has a rubber interior. No mods needed.

Those are good prices. BTW I suggested that the detectors might be sold like avy beacons were initially sold to backcountry skiers. Back in the 80s when they came out they were expensive. As such, retailers did not do a full mark up just so that they into the hands of folks. Perhaps that is what is already happening.

Very affordable price which should allow this technology to become part of every buddy pair's desired safety equipment.

I'll be curious to hear the retail price of the bump check kit.

Peter, they have a little canister of bump gas that was $11. Plus a large can but I can not remember the price.

Managed to get my nice new Analox CO EII today and my initial impressions are very positive. It appears very well built and as simple to use as the O2 EII. Turn on, adjust baseline to zero in a CO-free atmosphere, crack open tank valve, hold analyzer to valve for 20 to 30 seconds and take reading.

Once I have had a chance to test the unit further I'll post some more thoughts.

Patti will there be a more comprehensive user manual put up on the Analox web site? In particular the calibration instructions for the end user.

Sensor warranty is good for one year but how long is this unit good for? Is it just a matter of calibrating it or does the sensor go after a period of time and the whole unit would have to be replaced?
