Well, we were all concerned about her safety of course. We don't know here if she was abducted or ran away with a boyfriend. If the latter, I hope they prosecute the BF, as she is undersage of consent for anything in Texas; if abducted, worse prosecution. The person that took Ashley was not a boyfriend (nor Military) and was significantly older than she. I would be completely shocked / outraged if more than one party doesn't end up with lengthy prison sentence as this shakes out. (If not, I'm going hunting) The police know who the original P-O-S is and were looking for at least one other as of late last night.

Fortunately not true. My dad used to threaten me that way; eh, his dad was a hard butt too.

We still don't know here whether she left or was taken. Dealing with a problem 15 yo is very stressful, I know - now with my own grandson. The old "spare the rod and spoil the child" approach is no good at that age. Wishing Carrie the best.

We need to be really thankful in this case because all too often these cases do not have a happy outcome.

Like the others, I am glad she was found.

As to what happens here, I am sur ethat Carrie will do what is appropriate for her daughter. The only "perfect parents" are childless. Those with kids know enough to let Mom handle it without a bunch of back seat input.
