Alright Alex I give....how?
If the depths are accurate you would be able to plan the route you wanted to take while maximizing the efficiency of your profile. On a smaller reef it wouldn't be useful, but for a larger deeper wreck, I would want to learn as much as I could before splashing.
I studied post and pre-sink photos before my first Oriskany dive, and compared it to depth information I found. For me, it was helpful.
.....How was it simulated? DiveNav no disrespect but it just isn't the same as the real thing...![]()
Nope. You can NOT do that with the simulator. You need to ascend to the surface to change your gear (except for the weights ... you can drop them underwater .... but then good luck....Noticed he changed to a rebreather on the hanger deck! .....
.......can you create a simulation where we can "re-sink" the Oriskany? let us place the charges in different places and blow it up and see how it goes down each time? that would be fun.
Depths should be accurate .... if not we can fix those in few minutesIf the depths are accurate you would be able to plan the route you wanted to take while maximizing the efficiency of your profile. ....

This is a GREAT idea !
Since we are now working on the USNS Vandenberg (with the people that actually sunk it), we will develop this feature for her first.
We released the virtual dive site of the Spiegel Grove early this year. How about for the Spiegle Grove also maybe in the future?.....
She is sitting straight up...Have options for sinking it upright and upside down?![]()
