Oh, it is diving and Cozumel related. I just don't think there's going to be much agreement. It'll attact a lot of attention and probly posting, but what about?

Anyone else dealing with a stomach bug? I've been yuck for two days now. Not ill, just not good. :silly:

/hijack on
I've been back from Coz for 6 days, and have yet to shake whatever it is I picked up for the last 2 days I was there in Coz. At first I thought it was something I ate that didn't agree with me, but now after a week I'm sure that particular meal has "run it's course". I figured I'd tough it out and be a man about it, but 2 days ago I HAD to hit the Immodium. I'm perfectly functional, feel fine and all that, I just don't dare stray too far from home...

There you go, WAY more info than you ever wanted to know about Jayjoans. All because Don brought it up.

/Hijack off.

Providing a fair review about your dive experience is one thing and in someways healthy for both ScuabaBoard and the dive operation. Where it goes haywire is when those reviews are nasty, personal or just mean.

If you have an issue that concerns you and you feel like posting it, good. Just state it clearly, fairly and with the expectation that it may help others avoid the same issue should they encounter it.

Every business has off days and given a chance most will make some attempt at amends. For me, the measure of a good business is not that they are perfect every visit but how they handle themselves when issues come up.

Strange you two say that. When we returned from Coz 4 weeks ago, two of the three of us had some sort of stomach thing going on. Without too much detail, I'll say it follows closely on Jay's experience. Took 3 weeks or so to run it's course....and that same two of us arrive back on the island this Saturday hoping there will be no repeat. I took it as a bit of montezuma's much deserved revenge. Perhaps ice at a restaurant that was from tap or something along those lines, though I admittedly know naught about such things. Both of ours started around day 7 or 8 of the 9 day trip.

A thoughful post pleaing for reality, personal experience based op reviews turns into a discussion of gastrointestinal maladies. This is the real problem, many people just like to gab, on topic or not. I support the OP, discuss ops based on your own experience and give concrete examples to illustrate/support your views. The Aldora/Papa Hogs thread was severely highjacked for personal reasons, cut it out. It was not a free invitation to resurrect an old argument concerning Blue XT Sea Diving.

Good diving, Craig

Just like all men will eventually die of prostate cancer if they live long enough to get it, all threads will eventually end up somewhere in or near the potty. This one just got there quicker than others.

..and I am only partially responsible, Don started it. I am happy, however, to know that Bill has enjoyed what I'm experiencing, and more importantly that he reports that it eventually gets better. This thread may mean nothing to you, but for me it has given me hope once again of a normal life. Just try to put a price on that.

Perhaps a separate thread on CPP (Cozumel Potty Problems) is indicated. That would allow for a full and detailed discussion of the topic.

Not necessary. I'm good. I have all the info I need now. :)

Ice on Cozumel is purified so you should be ok there. Maybe it was the tequila WITH the ice? Nah....couldn't be
