Good luck Mitch, I'm sure you'll do great.

Thanks both of you! I already did the academics online in half an hour, haha.

Well, turns out the OW 22&23 of august. hoping they were a week earlier, but oh well. Super excited!

Very cool, Mitch! I know you've got to be super excited. I will be starting an Open Water course that weekend. This will be my first "full sized" course as an instructor (I've usually been taking the smaller courses until I could build up my confidence).

Also, I finally have some solid dates on when I'll be finishing my Full Cave course. I will be in FL for that Aug. 25- 30th. YAY!!!!! It's been a long time coming & I have been practicing my skills as I can to get ready. :dancingsnoopy:

I'm curious. What's the difference in the "full sized" course verses the "smaller courses"?

I think I might be able to stay at home and dive. Best since nobody wants to dive with me. :( Must be the doubles.

Hey Wally, I'll dive with ya anytime! I don't even mind the doubles. In fact I've been toying with putting together a set myself. If I'm going to dive in a mudhole I may as well do something to myself to make it interesting. :D

Class size, it's a difference (to me anyways) between 1 or 2 students, versus 8-9 students. I will have both a Dive Con candidate & an OW Instructor candidate assisting me, so it should go very smoothly. Sorry, I can see where what I typed could get confusing.

I see, I thought maybe you where just doing specialty courses and perhaps this was your first OW.
