Sunday, May 17th I'd like to head out with Captain Earl to do a little spearfishing in celebration of ScubaAnn's birthday. Trip will be out to the RJ Thompson http://uwex.us/042306.htm :yeahbaby: TwistedArts will still be in town from NYC. He doesn't spearfish so we can use him as bait, if need be :D:popcorn:

Cost is $95 pp. You provide all of your gear, including tanks and weights. (TA I have weights for you). As for tanks, if you are heading out on this trip you can hit up Divers Supply @ 4349 Gunn Hwy for tank rentals @ $4 for air and $8 for Nitrox :)

Post up if you want to go killing. Also, anyone who doesn't spearfish is still welcome as long as you don't mind a lot of fish murder :):D

Attendees:
MissD
TwistedArts/Jack
Salmon
Robin
III
ScubaAnn

Bill I'll get you the info on the RJ. I think I told you my best story from there though... When I came up and over the boat and looked down in there were hundreds upon hundreds of snook. Huge ones at that. Unfortunately I didn't have a line and hook with me :cool2:

Edit: I put a link to info on the RJ in the first post. Plugging AUE_Mike again :)

Yeah the schools of fish on the RJ are really something...MissD did we not stumble upon 2 nurse sharks and a huge eagle ray on our last dive there?
