I think what I really need is a different house. One where I have space to set up my stuff again. I have a bowflex, straight & curling bars, dumbbells, stabilizing ball, etc. No place to keep them set up here so I can use them.

That would be fabulous. My house is tiny, but if I ever have a bigger home I'd love to have a room dedicated to exercise/weight equipment. Right now what free weights and other equipment that I do have is kind of scattered all over the place. I find I'm much less likely to use it when it's not convenient to get to it. Sounds like the same thing you're experiencing.

I said my goal for this week is to do strength training at least two times. Today I accomplished half my goal. Just got back from lifting weights at the gym. I plan to do it again on Tuesday. That will probably be my only opportunity this week, as I am leaving for camping trip on Thursday and won't be home again until Sunday.

Well, I am going to try to hit the gym this week everyday like I usually do to to lift weights. I'll start slow and light. I'm going to attempt some cardio, even if it's light. Enough of not feeling well. I still wasn't feeling well this morning but I forced myself to go into NYC to a photo seminar at B&H. I felt fine the whole time I was there and for a while when I got home. Now, I feel some pain again but now I know that maybe I can work through it if I take it slow and easy.

Cathy - Great job! You'll be doing lots of strength training while camping, I'll bet! Just think of lifting that firewood, climbing those mountains, carrying all that gear

Hahaha! No, all that heavy lifting is my boyfriend's job. But I will be hiking every day, so I'll at least be getting my cardio done. And though drinking beer around the camp fire is one of my favorite parts of camping, I will only do so in moderation.

12 oz. hammer curl! That's weight training, isn't it?:D

I'm currently enjoying a more accelerated deal. I call it the "blow it out yer ass" weight loss plan.

I think this might be salmonella...

I'm thinking 10 days of this should have me down to my ideal weight.

Well, I did some weights and cardio yesterday. Only one set of 15 reps for back, bi's and abs, and only 10 minutes of cardio, but I got there. I am still wiped out from whatever I have ailing me. Not the same as Stu's but uncomfortable nonetheless. Hope you feel better Stu. Have you eaten tomatoes lately?

I am just getting over the tomato poisoning, I am convinced. Riding around the south west eating lots of raw tomatoes two weeks ago!

I lost 12 pounds. Seriously, you might have it. It was pretty rough.
