Well... that video is 27:36... that is so much longer that it will take you to get your Visa on Arrival...
Yea, but you can do it from your couch and you don't have to have egyptian pounds to get it.

The Visa on Arrival is not paid in EGP but in USD, EUR or GBP. EGP are not accepted.

I have heard that people get in line, bu find out that they only take Egyptian pounds. So that have to get back out of line and have to exchange currency, and then get back into line.

No, that's definitely not correct.
Every time I went there, I had to go to a "Bank" window, pay it in USD and get a sticker, and then go to the Passport Control desk. They put the sticker on a passport page and stamped it. No EGP.
