Which post are your referring to? Didn't see who called it a pain. Thanks.

No indv. post....just looking at the few around my original one.....saw the confusion and was curious why anyone would think waxing a ds zipper a pain....all clear as mud now. I wax my zipper quit often.

Seeing as no one appears to have said it's a pain, I don't get your curiosity. Are you wondering if it's a pain? I don't think it is. Just takes a minute. :)

I am on the side of zipper and wax go together like bread and butter!!! :D

Man...I swear I didnt make this up. check out post 47 from me...I referenced it there, so it was there. ok enough of this... :)

I have the Pinnacle Evo 2, which is a cordura trilam + their undergarment, and I can tell you there's no way to pack this thing small or cram it in a bag like a two piece 5mm wetsuit, with or without the undergarment. Perhaps regular trilam suits are more flexible for folding and stuffing, I wouldn't know as I don't own one, but this one definetly isn't.

It also takes some time to dry completely, not as long as my wetsuit, but close, if I want to lose the damp wet feel of the outside layer. Is it just me, but this really isn't the 'shake the water off and pack' kind of a suit? I'm starting to think it's a myth. :)

Donning it is rather easy now that I'm accustomed to and also post dive care, but the real benefit remains the surface interval, and no wetsuit can beat that when the winds are blowing, and it's 10 or less degrees Celsius out there. :D

Oh yeah, waxing the zipper is a really complex task, I'm considering a 'caddy' type of a person to hire for this purpose only. :D

In fact, I'll wax anyones zipper.

Hey Beavis, he said he would wax your zipper...heh, heh, heh!

... and in the winter either a full 7mil or dry suit. I have a suit for every occasion!!
A slight derailment - where do you find a 7mm wetsuit preferable to a drysuit? Just curious.
