…I have a few masks. Some older than me. (1959).. My first DA Aquamaster I bought in ‘83. 1958 vintage. .Nemrod Snark III, Voit 50 fathom, 2 ‘60 Waterlung Dual-Air by Sportsways. Viking fins. All in great condition…..

The oldest piece I own that I bought new is a Scuba Star. I still have it and it still works. The oldest reg I have that I can put a year on that still works is a New England Divers rebranded Hydro twin I

You're a mere child, I was born in 61.....my parents still had tails!
What does that say about me, born in 1945? ;)

I have a number of sets of Duck Feet fins, dating back to the early 1950s, that still work. My original Healthways Scuba regulator is gone, but I have bought used ones that I still have. One I have converted to what I call a Healthways Hybrid Scuba regulator, with the original box/exhaust design but with a Healthways Gold Label stage instead of the original one (it works better than the U.S. Divers Company Mistral). I also have a U.S. Divers Company Champion Deluxe mask that dates to the early 1970s, and is still very functional.

John you are what many of us strive to be, still actively diving at 80.

Skip,

I’ll be 80 in mid-December, 2025. Right now, I’m on my eightieth trip around the sun. ;)

PS, my brother’s nickname is Skip.

No disrespect intended John. I'm sure you'll still be out there next year. Hopefully you and I will be like my Dad, he was water skiing (on one ski) until he was 87.
