I think a universal principle is the bag goes with one everywhere on the vessel.
For some, this principle may sound great while at home with a glass of carménère in hand but then shift to tedious tomorrow morning while dealing with congested traffic on the way to work.
I'll admit I'm a bit of a strange bird having trained and operated for almost three decades with an evac bag (far more robust than the one I listed above).
For those that want more than a micro bag but think my size bag is too large, a possible compromise is a waterproof fanny pack. This makes life a lot easier for carrying what you deem are YOUR essentials for an isolation event.
