You need duct tape on fingers & toes to keep your kit together...

You gear never completely dries out...

You don't have to post the "Dive Now, Work Later" bumper sticker at your desk 'cause the rest of the office already knows how you feel...

c'mon y'all!

  • You can use a smaller cylinder than anyone else and still get more bottom time...
  • You can do a California Kelp dive with a pair of Oakley's on...
  • The gear in the trunk is more valuable than your car...
  • You have more wetsuits than clothes...
  • Your fingers start to get webbed...
Guess I'm guilty of all of the above! :D

A-men to all of the above! (although I haven't been diving long enough to have to stick my gear together with duct tape, but that day will come, I'm sure... )

:D

Just bought a "new" used car. Its chosen so it's big enough to hold tree to four divers + gear and not too new so I wonn't be too concerned about diving gear and dirty boots in the car. (So now I think the price of the gear and the car is about the same :)

everything looks blue green even out of the water.

You know your a diver when you dont need a scuba tank and get more bottom time than others with tanks.

>>>...watch the weather channels and all you look at is the coast line, and live in South Dakota.

... know what all those acronyms stand for...TSI Naui padi assc scuba rsd BAD and so on.

... know what a BAD dive is and been on one.

...drive past any body of water bigger than a bath tub and say "Been there Done that."

....When 12' tiger sharks come to you and role over so you can scratch the stomachs.

when you are diving under the following conditions:

1) the air temp is 20

2) the water temp is 35

3) the wind is blowing so hard waves are breaking over the
bow of a 45 foot dive boat and soaking everything and
everyone on the dive deck

4) the skipper of the dive boat wants everyone in the water
PDQ so he can get out of the howling wind

Well maybe I am not a REAL diver yet... Swampy, what is a BAD dive?
