You equate the cost of a potential non-diving purchase to the cost of not being able to purchase a dive product.

e.g. If I buy that $400 fridge, I can't buy that new tank.

Heheh... I drive an avalanche too, and it was purely a diving vehicle decision. I had a blazer before that, and needed a wet friendly cargo space.

The Avalanche is truely the best SCUBA vehicle. I jokingly refer to mine as a SCUBA Utility Vehicle.

Oh... and I got Onstar because my cell doens't work at most of the local quarries.

I love my Avy too and keep the Onstar cus cell reception sucks in a lot of areas in Cave Country.

I can fix the hurricane damage to my house, or I can live with it and buy a rebreather...

I'd never get rid of Onstar. I'm too directionally challenged without the benifit of a compass or a reel. (guess that is another sign)

Words such as "decompression" and "nitrox" make you go all shivery!

Like meeting someone at a party who also scuba dives, and you may or may not have been introduced by mutual friends... I think it was already mentioned, but when your friends associate you=diving

When enjoying a cold corona last night during the heat game...I mentioned that my lime was being buoyed up a little extra by the shot of citron.
