Is the Q even out yet? It looks interesting, but given DiveRites no-so-great reputation with technical computers I certainy won't be an early adopter. I'm looking at the shearwater as an upgrade to my VR3 currently.

To clear up a few points:
- We just released Xeo firmware 1.11 which extends battery life significantly
- The battery in the Xeo has the same capacity as the X1, and the displays burn the same amount of power. Both units last about the same amount of time on a battery. The only difference is the X1 is rechargeable.
- The battery life on the Xeo changes dramatically based on your settings (as much as 75 hours or as low as 7 hours based on display settings)

The Shearwater Predator....I too wear reading glasses, don't need them to read the Predator.

Looking at the images of the Xen & Predator in the last 2 post's, I wonder if there is much difference in the size of each number/letter. Comparing the image of the Predator to the screen of an X1, they seem to use a very similar font size.

The Predators has a larger form factor, but there seems to be a lot of vacant real estate on the screen.
