I used to have a quad air and sender. The computer warns you when the sender battery is low. Then you have a couple of hours of battery time. The computers own battery level is visible as Ok or not in the info screen/menu.
Thanks, I will check once I am with the computer.

I had and overseen it. Mares experet told me (hence my post and I was right they do not know it either).
"The LED transmitter will display transmitter battery level on the Genius and Icon HD. A volt meter will be needed to test the battery level on the transmitter when using the Quad Air."
Interesting. Directly conflicts the Quad Air manual.

Nothing but trouble with three transmitters we bought and 2 Sirius computers . The key word is lemons. It's a batch problem for sure but getting Mares to accept is like making a river gonip a mountain .

I understand. We returned the unit (computer and transmitter) as we had 14 days to do so after the sale, since we could not get any proper answers from Mares or the dealers. So I suspect that if they can (or wont ) not do pre-sales service, the after sale must be of the same standard. :-(
Being in Taiwan might not help either. As a EU citizen I had the 'best' reply from the US. Stll way below par. Maybe you contact Mares US?
