The Kit is not on the Spare Parts Price List 2018 anymore.......

Yes it helps. Scubapro went back to the metal barrels as the plastic cracks but reported to never have had a complete separation. Cost is about right. They are still available through a dealer. The newer barrels have the tang on them. There is a thread in the DIY forum about them.
