Fortunately my current hp100 jogging-tank presents no problems for transport.
(...and taxis rule!)
It will be great to meet you at Casino Point and continue your "welcome" to the SoCalKelp group of diveaholics.

I'll also fill you in on the RickInman Dive Report that started the jest about having my gear carried... Rick does leave lasting impressions .

We're planning on rolling in Friday night on the 7:00 from LB. So if dinner is later (8:15 - 8:30-ish)...great! If I miss dinner, I'll show up for chocolate desert.

And of course, post-dinner festivities (port and dominoes) in the lobby of the 'mosa (FYI - until it gets warmer outside at night, the evening port and dominoes has been moved from the buffalo seating area at Olaf's to the lobby of the Hermosa.)

I'm thinking we're poaching the V first AM Saturday (like 7:00 ish)... who all's in? However, sounds like there may also be a matinee brewing for the morning boaters. I'll be diving it in the AM.

With a little container of antifog and a flower?

Or will you be diving next to me, carrying my spare mask, spool/lift bag, wetnotes, and shears, so I don't have to be inconvenienced with all that "stuff" in my pockets while diving? Do you do stage bottles, too? Hmmmmm.... GUE never mentioned this option...

Is anybody on sabatical (er' unemployed) like me and want to get over there Friday morning to get some diving in?

I just gave this piece of paper to my boss and he have me the 10th off. Now we can dive Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I would like to also do the Valiant, but would like to tag along with those that have done it.

If you've read all the hoo-hah, and want to try a BP/W for a dive, I can bring a spare rig or two to the Cat Wrinkles dive. I can schlep a couple over and you can try one out in the protected park to see if this type of rig is for you.

Sort of a side by side, Pepsi Challenge thing (remember... where Pepsi gave Coke the butt whipping it so richly deserved...) You can dive your BC for a dive, come up and get fitted on the SI and do another dive in the BP. Send me a PM if you're interested.

O.K. serious question, does everybody going to the Valiant need to get an individual permit, or is it just a headcount that one person submits?

I believe that all divers on a Valiant expedition must be present when the harbormaster issues the permit.
