Wrinkles June '06 Dive Planning Thread - Laguna Beach

Well heck, if the doc is going to be there this weekend I'm coming whether I have my gear back from the shop or not

Gotta ask Bill about some wierd stuff I saw in the Philippines. Like a walking crinoid. I still feel like I was seeing things when that thing walked by me...

I'll have the whole crew, but as usual we'll bring all our own food. And I'll have Myrna bring some kinda side dish, too.

John and I will be there... put us down for dessert. Rumor has it that Wrinkles herself may make an appearance!

Dave, Jim and I will be there. We'll sign up for our contribution to the feast. Ann Marie has her final exams for her instructor course. Go Ann Marie!! We might be able to get AM and Jamie to come to Gina's for the after dive festivities..

What gear do you need? I'm sure we have plenty of extra gear around if yours doesn't make it out of the shop.

Jim, if you need any equipment let me know...(as a hobby I manage the dive department at the Mission Viejo Sport Chalet, i.e. Evil Empire) I'll set you up with some gear if you need it. Well, I won't be there but will leave word for them to set you up. Just let me know.

Speaking of that swell .... anyone notice the beaches have been closed part of the last few days?

Mother ocean just might give as that little window of opportunity for Sat. It looks like Laguna beaches are still closed as of this morning. The current S swell will start to back down as the day goes on. Some of the models are showing the forerunners of the next round of long period S swell starting to fill in on Sat. However, it should still be fairly inconsistent early. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Bring your surfboard just in case Laguna lights up on South swell. There's a fun little point break to the South of Hessler ... if you're not afraid of a few rocks
