Greetings fellow GLWC divers just interested who all is coming out this weekend to dive.
Huron has been calling and I am ready to visit some more.
The diving is spectacular with adult beverages and killer Pizza from the Blue Water Pub on the corner of main street in Port Sanilac.
Try the Great Lakes Brewing Co. Edmund Fitzgerald it is one of the best brews on tap I have tasted to date.
Service is excellent and good times had by all.

Bored with the local quarry come and play the water is very nice!

Yep, the Edmund F is a great beer!

I do not want to take away from the diving at all it is incredible but the SI are a blast.
Whether hanging out at the house or eating out it is fun to rub shoulders with other divers.
I have met some really awesome new and old friends this season.
After a couple years of pretty much quarry diving it is amazing the stuff I was missing not venturing outside the local scene.
I challenge all those who were like me to break out a few weekends and roll north to the big Lakes.

We got blown off Lake Michigan last week So we're gonna try it again with Captain Jim and Windy City Divers. I finally got her talked into diving in the big lake and I'm gonna pounce on it. Next couple weeks are White Star Quarry and Lisa's 30th year high school reunion, and then back down to Florida for Cavern/Intro to Cave! And maybe the Oriskany!

Tim if you get that Intro you are invited to our Holloween cave diving trip.
Let me know if you are interested I can give you the details.

Enjoyed diving with Cam and Mike and the rest of the crew yesterday morning. Nice dives (and laughs) on the New York and the Williams. Really nice vis on the New York.

Rarely do you see 3 sidemount divers on a Great Lakes open water dive - those guys from Indy are crazy.....

I only did the morning dives and I am pretty glad I left when I did, as the skies open up in the afternoon. The TV weather guys said Port Sanilac had over 5" of rain.

Jeff and Mike it was great diving with you guys as always.
The skies really opened Sat. afternoon but fortunately that was the only dives we missed.
Today we were able to complete all three dives and then some before the rain storm.
Long drive home 5.5hrs but ready for bed now, I will have to unload the car tomorrow!
