Maybe, but probably not. Oxygen doesn't burn, it only increases the flammability of other things. So, unless there was either an open flame nearby or a steady supply of sparks along with a combustable material, nothing extra is likely to happen.SKBRDVR1:It's been tried...on the TV show "Myth Busters". No boom (sorry). Penetration of the round depends on strike surface i.e. a glancing shot may deflect, a straight shot penetrates. There is a tremendous release of pressure that has to be dealt with. Now, consider a tank of 100% Oxygen versus compressed breathing air...There's your boom!
