My worst experience was #2 @ 80 feet. Tormentos Reef - Cozumel. Thank goodness the suit was a rental. Dang Montezuma and his hatred of SCUBA divers!

:rofl3: Seriously, TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!

As a diver who pees in my wetsuit, it is funny to watch those that don't dance around in a fury, taking equipment off so they can go. The best is when they almost have everything off and you quickly get in the head before they do just to make them squirm. hehe yes I'm evil!

Wow...until now, I had no idea that so many people were so uptight about urine.

I'll say it proudly: I pee in my wetsuits.

I have never had any problems with odor in my wetsuits as I rinse them well and wash them at home every few weeks.

Phew! Just kidding with you though.

As for the peeing in the bathwater comment - I think its entirely different set of scenarios - at least IMHO.

I agree, more like peeing in the shower!:D

Will somebody PLEASE unzip my drysuit?:11:

My related mantra? The ocean is my bathroom...

i own my own wetsuits and I've never had any bad smells because I rinse them during the dive, after the dive(s) and wash them out with Sink the Stink when I get home in the tub.

If you haven't figured it out from my handle, I am not young buck. If I drink enough, either I pee or cut my dives short for a potty run. It a no brainer for me. Don't worry, you will get older and have to pee more often eventually, it happens to most of us.

I'm not yet 27, and I pee about once an hour throughout the day, but sometimes more often than that.

I also consume about 6 liters of water during the working hours, so there ya go.

I think the folks talking about bad smells are mostly immagining things. I,however, find a suit full of pee uncomfortable. My suit fits well enough that I really have to work at it to flush it all out. So I try to avoid peeing in it. If I have to go, I'm certainly not cutting a dive short or holding it, but if it's half an hour into a dive, I don't really mind waiting another 20 or 30 minutes and hitting the head when I get out. For me, holding it for half an hour is barely uncomfortable. I know, I'm young and this will change.

OTOH if I'm in the tropics wearing a 3ml, I'll pee 5 minutes before I get out of the water. It flushes a lot easier.
