It's no big deal. I find that, for whatever reason, I am unable to pee during a dive, but during the safety stop, OH YES!! Flushing the wetsuit is no big deal. Pull the neck out a few times and flush it really good. Problem solved. No urine smell. Crazy how big a deal some people are making over this...

There ARE divers who don't/won't pee in their wetsuits, though. I have a friend who swears up and down that he doesn't, and after ribbing him a little, I find that I believe him.

I think flushing the wetsuit depends on the suit. I have a couple of old ones that flush well, and a new one that will not. It is tighter and firmer.... And pee-free, so far!

At least until it has a few dives on it? :D

I have a 5/7mm semi-dry that I've never peed in. It's a damn nice wetsuit, and... I don't know... I just can't bring myself to do it. :shakehead: :rofl3:

I've said it before, say it again - the ocean is my bathroom! I have a shortie that I've "violated" many times. I bought a new full length 3mm for my Fiji trip last October and christened it within the first 5 minutes of my first dive. Neck rinses followed by a good dunking/rinse after diving and I never have any odor. I also soak them in the tub with a little bit of fabric softener when I get home from a trip, my LDS recommended this and it seems to make them smell nice!

Unless you have a very physical occupation, this may be too much H2O;)

You Can Drink Too Much Water
Basically the only way to achieve that (as the article also kinda states) is to only drink excessive ammounts of water, without eating or taking mineral additions..
