Why peeing in your wetsuit is a GOOD thing.

Gotcha. As weird as it may seem, pee is sterile. I asked a doctor about that once.

Anyway, we've really come up with several items here:

-It means you're relaxed, which is good.

-It means you're hydrated, which is very, very good.

-It means you're comfortable on the dive.

I'm with most of you here. What's the big deal? I've been diving for quite a while and I've never had

some dirty b*****d come and sit next to you stinking of his own pish while you're trying to enjoy your lunch on the boat !!!

I suppose it could happen but this sounds like a pretty isolated incident to me.

In Texas, any time you pee anywhere outside a bathroom it qualifies as a "Country Whizz". A country whizz beats a regular urination nine ways to Tuesday!

To Pee or Not to Pee! Oh for gosh sakes just pee.

30 years of diving this month. I've been peeing in my wetsuit for 30 years. (No, it's not the same suit. I do miss the beaver tail though.) Just don't tuck the suit into the boots.

I actually dove with a newly certified DM in Curacao recently. He absolutely refused to pee in his wetsuit, and he was wearing a shorty. As soon as a dive was over he was rushing to the bathroom.
