^ Unfortunately, there's always someone out there to hold your hand and coddle you, too.

And it only adds another 50% markup - what a deal. If I walk into a shop, select the gear I want. and ask for no help; can I get it at Leisurepro prices?

If you call scubatoys or dive sports you'll get your gear set up and plenty of help and advuse if you want it as well as prices as good or better than Leisurepro. Hard to beat.

I've had great experiences with:

1 Divers-Supply
2 Divers Direct

Good Experiences:

1 Dolphin Scuba

Poor:

1 Divetank

I'll have to check these out. Thanks

For myself, Leisure Pro, Scubatoys, Divetank and 123Scuba. I've gotten great service and prices. Laura from 123Scuba usually has some awesome deals, but you need to call and find out what kinda specials she is running.

There are things that you need to be careful with such as wetsuits/drysuits. I ordered couple of wetsuits for my son and I. The sizing is different between the manufacturer. My son fit in the 3x so I knew it wouldn't fit me.

New divers not knowing how to set gear up?
Sounds like a problem with their basic instruction to me.
Lots of divers have "problems" with their basic instruction.

Most don't get the advantage of a college semester spent practicing in a swimming pool before they ever get to see open water.

Scubatoys for me... If you are a member of this board or the ir forum you get 10% off, and if you post 10 times in thier forum you get a gift certificates worth $10.

I just bought a pair of bio-fins and used my discount, plus if my fins don't fit they have sent a pre-paid label to ship them back and send me the right size at no cost to me.

Talk about quality service right there.

Has anyone have any experiences with Dive Rite Express? I'm looking at getting some gears from them as they have a good deal on the Dive Rite TransPac package.
I'm located in Australia, so I've to be sure of whichever internet supplier I get my stuff from.

Overall I think you'll find positive reviews of Dive Rite Express.

But for their Transpac Package, at $719 it doesn't appear to include the CAM straps for the tank. Maybe that's a MAP price, but you should be able to find a better deal on that.
