An ounce of common sense and first-hand experience is worth a ton of internet "wisdom."I will make both knots on try ththem.
I will add an adjustment on mine, no doubt. No adjustment in mine. I have set lengths for top and bottom line and they are individually cut and tied. Shorter top so the scoot stays on plane below me with even tension on both lines at my desired length. I used 550 cord that was burned and super glued at the knots.
I don't have any out of water pics but my buddy did get this one which shows it in use.

Black is silly. When it gets tangled (or wrapped in your prop) you have that much more hassle getting it cleaned up. Black offers zero value. My Bonex has an old tow cord, it's stiff meanwhile and does not slide well anymore, it became difficult to adjust length.
What kind of cord do you use? Must be
- about 5mm
- braided
- black if possible
What material is best? Nylon, polyester......
Are there differences in braiding?
Life is dull enough, why not add some color! Black on black on black divers make me go hmmI'm going to get one of those masks for those dives when I want to channel my inner Elton John.
