Which tow cord do you use?

My Bonex has an old tow cord, it's stiff meanwhile and does not slide well anymore, it became difficult to adjust length.

What kind of cord do you use? Must be
- about 5mm
- braided
- black if possible

What material is best? Nylon, polyester......
Are there differences in braiding?
