NAUI for me

Padi because it was and still is the closest shop.

PADI as it was the ONLY available instructor (shops? What shops?)
EDIT: Correction, it was the only available isntructor that I was recommended to talk to..

Padi for JOW, ACUC for everything else since then, including now working on ACUC DM.

In the process of getting my PADI OW cert right now. Be finished tomorrow. Out of all the shops I checked out and instructors, all were PADI except for one who was SSI. And I looked in three different STATES. Ended up choosing the PADI cause through my research and everthing it seemed to be the most common. Plus, and honestly this played a larger role, the shop and instructor was closer and able to fit into my schedule a lot easier.

NAUI for my initial cert. WIll be doing AOW soon through PADI only because it is available. My wife is PADI OW

How about the one from which many of the others (NAUI, PADI) began... Los Angeles County? They still run some of the finest cert classes around.
