Where to go?

Just realize I will have 3-4 days to kill in the PI after the photoshop. Is there any ferries from Puerto Galera to say Cebu or even Boracay?

If you are willing to take a 3 hour bus ride from PG to Roxas Mindoro, there is a ferry there that will take you to Caticlan then just a 15 minute boat ride to Boracay. There is also a ferry from Calapan Mindoro to Coron Town in Palawan. But that ferry is not for the faint of heart..

dennis, i don't know the weather gambles but since you've got at least a few days to spare why don't you try coron? gorgeous place, and WWII wrecks up the wazoo...

it's a different adventure from most of the rest of the country most definitely

I'm kind of leaning toward Dumaguete again...

Dennis, if you do Dumaguete you mine as well check out Malapascua for a few days too. Fly from manila to Cebu city, take a car to malapascua, hang out for 4 days, then you can make it to dumaguete pretty quick, less than half a day

or do the whole nine yards...arrive in Cebu from Manila...go to Moalboal for 2 days (3 hours from Cebu City by car/van)...back to Cebu City...go to Malapascua (4-5 hours by car/boat) for 3-4 days...back to Cebu City...cross to Bohol (Panglao Island) by ferry (1 1/2 hours) stay for 3-4 days and finally to Dumaguete (stay there forever?) by boat. Cebu City, Bohol and Dumaguete have direct flights to Manila.

That's the ultimate visayas dive trip...
