If you're living in Phuket or if you've been on the Queen Scuba liveaboard in the last few years, you will know Rich Neely - great bloke, one of the top tour leaders on liveaboards round these parts. He was here during the tsunami, then had the Rhapsody liveaboard sink under him in calm seas off Richelieu Rock in 2005.. and now this:

Divers drift off Barrier Reef for 19 hours

Quite a shock to see his name - I heard something on the news yesterday, but just saw Rich's name on the internet today. Glad to know he and Alison are fine.

Its just come on the news here that the authorities involved are expecting them to pay back some of the rescue costs because they sold there story!
