Question What’s New vs New Posts

What is the difference between “What’s new” and “New posts”?
I post something in one of the forums and I don’t see it in New Posts, but it shows up in what’s New. But then What’s New sometimes looks like a duplicate of New Posts.
What gives?

I believe that New Posts will not show posts you've read (which would include posts you've made).

What is the difference between “What’s new” and “New posts”?

What's new includes Latest posts (which links to New posts) and Latest resources. IMO, New posts is the most useful unless you have not visited ScubaBoard in some time.
