I like the idea of the pocket-shorts over my wetsuit and just using my drysuit pockets.
I say "idea" because I'm not diving wet other than on vacation in WARM water (like, shorty warm). Tom has policy reasons keeping him from diving dry in all conditions (place he volunteers to help with has rules against diving dry with students) and therefore has to switch. My dives in a wetsuit involve, at most, one spool and one SMB. Dry is when I get into overhead situations and I need to worry about pockets. If I ever dive a cave in a wetsuit, I'll be looking for the pocket-shorts before I go.
