What one piece of equipment would you take under water besides the basic scuba rig?

By basic scuba rig I mean: Air, BC, regs,weight and suit.

Just curious as to what you all think is your most important piece of gear.:eyebrow:
 
knife or shears
 
compass and smb.... but then again, i consider these as part of my basic standard equipment setup

Fins and a timer:D

I always carry a light, just a small on even in bright conditions, to look in the areas shaed by rocks or other stuff.
 
If I could only have one "accessory," it would be my light.

However, I consider it part of my standard configuration. I guess if the conditions are right I may bring a camera.
