1990 Chev Surban 350 V8, just 163,000 mile on the odometer. We can haul lots of stuff in this truck. It just made a 2,151 mile trip from Virginia to West Palm and back with no problem. Averaged 17mph round trip. The mph isn't that bad when you consider the load consists of 4 tanks, two complete sets of dive gear + backup gear, luggage for two people for a week(mind you, the wife has lots of shoes she MUST take each trip), Large RubberMaid rolling tub(for the sweet smelling wet gear, PHEW. If you haven't tried one of the tubs believe me it stops the smell on that trip back home.), coolers and still have room for all the stuff we buy to bring home. I LOVE my Truck!

My ride is.....1997 Dodge Ram 1500 ,(360ci) 4x4 extended cab ,short bed.

too add my 1993 Skidoo Formula MX 587 liquid rotax engine and Skiboose for the gear ;)

You saw that MPH too.

Do you think they got much diving in, seems like they would be driving an awlful lot on a 2,000 mile drive :D .

Full Size CHEVY truck. With a rubber mat in the bed to keep the gear from sliding around.

Chad

I use a 1999 push cart. It holds three scuba bottles and one gear bag. Anything else makes the tires bottom out! I usually have to make a few trips from the house to the dock :D

Hey LD and SocialDiver,
Alright already. I was tired from all that driving. It should have been 17MPG. On I-95 we ran 75-80 MPH and were still getting blown off the highway. The surban only has 85 MPH on the speedometer. I guess I can't go any faster than that. Thanks for the typo catch.
