I got my shirt! Well, I was in Tahoe so my parents picked up my mail, it must have come Saturday. Probably lucky they didn't call the cops since it was "a package that felt odd" from a "junkyard." I kinda forgot to tell them I was expecting something and for some reason they couldn't make the connection between scuba diving and auto wrecking!:confused:

LOL...Beast said the same thing when he saw our T-sgirt package!

In Marine Blue, with a full tool chest in the back!

And yes - I did get my shirt - THANKS! - It'll be on show for my Xmas dive excursions.

Cheers -=>Larry<=-

Well... depends what the fares are... usually 757's -- I hate MD-80's -- they're just too damn wide.. and the DC-10 are a bit old...

But, my Saturn just hasn't been able to master the swim from San Jose to Kihei!

But, I would much rather have Lahaina than Kihei (more laid back in Lahaina I think.

As far as one of them thar motorized vehiculars I transport my tired old body with all the gear in the back of my "red tomato", a 1987 Honda CRX Hatchback (don't laugh it get's 42 miles to the gallon), with 189,000 miles and like the Timex it just keeps right on ticking. Don't have to worry about messing up the inside, but phew, go through the deodorizer for a couple of days after a trip because that back gets to smelling funny.

:p

I own at 2002 Volkwagon Jetta Wagon with the VR6/5 speed.

Some of you might have read my post under the Dive Medicine Forum about my recent crash accident. Insurance finally paid out for my mangled 94 Honda Civic and we bought this little wagon. Diving and hauling our 4 legged kids was the primary reason for the wagon but it is actually surprisingly sporty and quick.

We also have a 98 Toyota Tacoma extended cab V6 4x4 truck that is our primary diving vehicle.

alas, I am driving a 4-door Corolla.... fine for me, but starts to be a strain if a buddy comes along, and forget it for more than that. Next year -- Suburu Forrester is planned. That way there will be space, and durability (I don't think the poor Toyota likes hauling tanks). I'll be getting one of the roof top carriers also - so the oh so lovely wet wetsuit smell stays outside. But till then, the car gets me to where I want go.

Actually it is an El Camino. That's what I use to tow the boat. If it is far away or from the shore, then it's the wife's 99 stratus.

Later, Hawk.

My 2000 Jeep Cherokee gets me & one buddy around for two tank dives & three of us can fit if we have only one tank each. I am going to build a custom tank rack to handle 4-6 tanks and I need to get the rubber mat liner for the cargo area.

Ize head for dem dive sites in my big old monster Chevy. Dat way, after I gets changed into the rubbah suit, I can just giant stride offa da tailgate! And if I overinflate them tires, I don't have to get air fills for a year!

Both my Dive Buddy and I have small p/u's. Kevin has a Ford Ranger and I have a S15 Jimmy. They make excellent platforms when shore diving as the tailgate is just right for putting on the heavy stuff.
