Well - I voted for a car - as there was no space for my Audi A6 wagon - Not an SUV mind you - decent milage, tiptronic and one heck of a good stereo that will blast Sibelius from here to Canada...
However, I have noticed that a nice Gavin scooter would probably work better as a chic magnet... Working on that...

But I already voted -

I have for the most part used my Grand Cherokee Jeep. But, when I was in Maui I used the rental Mustang convertable. On road trips to Florida I have been in my jeep, a Saturn and a van. I do like my jeep though with back seats down there is plently of room for all gear and can keep it organized easily.

For 6 years we drove an 88 plymouth mini van, but with 225k it is retired to hauling gear to the pool and back (8 miles) it gets better gas mileage than oil mileage now.

fianlly bit the bullet and now we use a Tahoe. We love it and it is a superb ride. half the mileage is pulling a 24' boat with 3 -4 people and all the gear.

will definetly buy another one when it retires.

'I'm Chilly Will the Diver. I shake until I'm blue.
My head is hot and my feet are cold. Ah Eee Achoo!
Now what about the divers along the Cozumel Isle?
I'll bet they're always warm as toast. They always seem to smile.
I'm always Chilly Will. I'm frozen through and through.
My nose is red and my toes are cold. Ah Eee Achoo!'

I picked up a used 92 Chevy Blazer 4x4 prety cheap on E-Bay one year ago (have to re-register/inspect this month) and just throw everything in plastic tubs in the back.

See my profile pic. You can almost get to see it... Well, at least the open back of it.

Had lots of fun slapping dive stickers all over it too ;)

It's had up to 10 tanks plus 3 people and their gear in it.
