What is your favorite SCUBA Book?

I would like to get a friend of mine a good SCUBA book as a gift.

He is a diver and lives in Germany. Any suggestions would be helpful.

And I would like to get something for myself also.

My vote is for Shadow divers and The Last Dive.

Wonderful books that I couldn't put down!

Everyone has named some great ones so far. Deep descent, dark descent, Shadow divers, Last Dive, and the books by Gentile would be good gifts.

I'd also recommend "Hiding on the Bottom." I've read it and it's a wonderful book. Not just saying that because the author is a friend.
