It had to happen, some SP dealer has figured out that the black market pays well if you have the product. Now if others will get in the game we can get the prices down to something more reasonable.

That guy sells SP parts for a very high price. OTOH, a MK25 rebuilt well should last a few seasons, and you could even take it apart, clean, and put it back together with new dynamic o-rings if necessary. The seats last a long time due to the piston design, there are bushings protecting the HP o-ring from extrusion, and there are two LP piston o-rings; one works as a scraper to keep anything in the ambient chamber away from the inner, sealing o-ring. So it's designed to last a long time between rebuilds.

The big savings comes from extending the service interval to something more reasonable, based on the amount of use and any indications of trouble, rather than annual rebuilds.

Zung, gave you a good list. double check on which yoke nut socket you need. There a 1" (25.4mm) and a 26mm. Not sure the tolerance is within .5 mm but for SP regs you probably want the 26mm socket.

Scubapro takes the 1" socket.

Scubapro takes the 1" socket.

So does Mares.... you'd think both of these brands would take a metric socket :dontknow:

Best wishes.

Yeah, I use my 1" on Mares and Atomics. Did not know SP was the same. Regardless, though one should check.
