what do you wear under your wetsuit?

I used to use swimoutlet, loved them in fact, but I use amazon now as swim outlet charges for shipping to Alaska.

They charge for shipping anywhere unless you spend over $50 0r $99 or whatever.

Still, sometimes their sale price plus shipping beats amazon's price and free shipping. And sometimes it doesn't.

So, i'm relatively new to the sport, I still just wear some swim trunks...but I hear other people like other things...so I was curious, what do you like to wear under your wetsuit?

I almost always wear some sort of wetsuit when diving, which I usually prefer to fully remove and switch to swim trunks between dives.

So, I start off with snug lavacore-style underwear, which provides support; plus is super durable. Over those I wear a pair of Scubapro hybrid neoprene shorts, which adds warm coverage w/ zero bulk and an easy transition between my wetsuit and my swim trunks; all while keepin' it streamlined and comfortable.

They charged for shipping to AK regardless of how much you spent. We are discussed in the asterisk that shows "restriction apply". Lots of places do that. Free shipping to the continental US. They must have flunked geography, we are on the same continent. pet peeve of most people who live up here.

But "contiguous" is so hard to spell.

I believe contiguous and continental can be interchanged. Continental should include Ak, but I think it's one of those language things where over time something that's wrong is accepted as correct. In 1977 I visited the marker near Lebanon, KS that marked the center of the Continental US. That didn't include AK. -- you can tell, as it would be considerably more NE (the center of the US including AK & HI is about 10 miles E. of Belle Fourche, SD and unaccessable by road). Center of N.A. (U.S. & Canada) is near Center, ND (Used to be at Rugby, ND and the statue still stands, but modern technology nixed that).
Geographical center of Canada is somewhat S. of Baker Lake, Nunavut.
East-West middle near the border is East of Winnipeg on highway TCH1 (there is a sign).

I'll take N.A. Geography for 2000 Alex.

BTW, Belle Fourche has a nice center monument if you don't want to bother searching the field with a GPS to see the real spot of dirt. My son practiced balancing a flagpole on his nose there last summer.

That said, in no way, shape or form is the word contiguous synonymous with continental. Let's not excuse ignorance that easily, both "contiguous states" and "first 48 states" work and don't take any more effort than "Continental states".

I wear under armour heat gear tank top and my mares rash gaurd shorts. Its quite comfortable under my 7mm or my 3mm vest and makes donning the wetsuit a breeze. If the water is warm or in a pool i will just wear the heat gear and rash shorts.

Skin-in and lubed up freediving suit = commando.

Regular nylon lined scuba suit = thigh length speedo (not marble bag) or Lycra skin.

Like many, I wear a competition-style swimsuit so that I can change before and after the dive without offending anyone's sensibilities.

Once again. short inseam lined running shorts. The comfort and quick drying of a speedo with just a couple ounces of nylon outer shell for modesty. The originals are the Soffe Ranger Panties, aka "silkies". Get 'em at the source at Soffe AUTHENTIC Ranger Panty PT Run Short or slightly cheaper at Buy Ranger Panties at Army Surplus World | Army Surplus World. They are way overpriced at amazon, but there's a version from Condor that people seem to like.

If they can hold up to this, they'll be fine under a wetsuit
