If you really want to go all out... you can get canisters with several liters of water based lube cheaply. It's intended use is for e.g. pregnancy checks on horses or cows by veterinarians. But it's basically the same stuff you'd use for sex.
You'll have to live with the looks from people around you though.![]()
Fair point, I usually apply normal ones like aloe vera gel in my room, but other things like water or soap tends to be on a dive deck where soaps and showers are already used.Be extra careful with any lubricant on boats because of what can became a slippery deck.
Taking Durex's water based lube for example, it lists Benzoic Acid as an ingredient. Which another search shows is not reef safe. So it does vary by product. That said I don't think reef safety is a primary concern of such products, though perhaps it's a potential market to be explored in the future.Why would that be likely not reef safe?
