Apeks RK3, Hollis F1 LT, or other?

Most of the criticism for the RK3 being floppy concerns the ability or lack thereof for reverse kicking / helicopter turns. The RK3 HD does not have that issue.

Ok gocha so would they be similar stiffness to channel fins then? With the vents adding some efficiency?

IDK how they compare to stiffness of channel fins. Mine are the HDs and like I said, they perform like Jet Fins but weigh substantially less, also they are only slightly negative in water, another plus.

Thanks! How similar or different are they to scubapro jet fins aside from being lighter?

I find they perform closer to Jets than my RK3s do, which is why I'm switching. I've also used Jets for a long time but find them to be too negative now (I'm saving them for when my first dry suit arrives this summer).

You'll get a lot of suggestions on here, but there are no objective answers, period, and there will be no substitute for trying and diving different types of fins yourself. I bought a pair of Deep Six Eddy fins years ago based on great reviews here on SB and I found them horribly uncomfortable, but I have a higher instep than most, and they work well for lots of other people. What's great for you may not be great for others and so forth.
