carrying a few friends around on a pleasure cruise? sure

carrying a few divers? not enough room
 
I'm actually surprised this concept hadn't been thought up sooner. But yes, I agree with ^. And by a "few friends" I hope that number doesn't exceed two. It looks quite small and a jetski isn't designed to move that much weight. Two people on a jet is, say they are 160 and 180, 340lbs. Now double that with two more people to 680. Then add the weight of the craft itself...

Sounds like a good way to shorten the life of a jet ski at a high rate of speed...
 
What about as a two man dive platform with the jetski removed? The divers could swim up onto the area that the jetski would sit in, with a tank holder on each side where the divider is between the jetski and the passenger area.
