@rddvet put sharpie on all of the contact points you can. When you try to engage them and they stick, look where the sharpie was rubbed
You mean put one bracket on either side of the tank using one set of hose clamps to hold them on? I don’t think that would be an issue at all. On the fathom the hose clamps hold the two tank attachments on either side of the unit and the sta use to mount it to your backplate. So that’s more stuff being held than in your scenario.Nice, just the info I was looking for. I would like to mount 2 can lights to 1 3l. What would you think of using two brackets using 1 set of hose clamps. Where do you source them, Kent tooling direct?
No top grab. Strange that the Defender has one and the X doesn’t. Most people in the US (including me) don't have any sort of stand on theirs like the EU guys. I'm not sure I want the extra size on the bottom, but I DO often wish for something to grab on the top of the unit to lift it.
When it is empty of sorb the bottom part of the scrubber, the flat plastic plate with the three springs, is loose. So if you are travelling it can move a bit and is generally a little bit unsatisfactory. Not a huge deal as the solution is to stuff clothes into the scrubber. But like the business with the head not really standing up on its own (I usually put it don with on a large plastic bag on the floor of my cabin) to dry it could be a bit better.I'm two weeks from Mod1 in my JJ, Rona permitting. What did you mean:

Any value in thinking about a strip of rubber/plastic window seal that has a knife edge, that I can tuck down in the gap between the head and the can, to collect sand before it drops down the crack above the first head o-ring?
