Tell ya what I WON'T eat before a dive ever again...orange juice or anything with egg on it! That is some major indigestion, and I don't want to burp that....

Burping under water can be learned........

On day I hade a greasy pulled pork sandwich at a 'local grotto' (thow who have been there know what I am talking about) between dives (I normally eat quaker bars, but my buddy eat them all.....). So a warm sadwich it was during SIT.

Next dive, grease wanted to come out: hold, take reg out of mouth, turn head to right, let it rip (with a lot of air to make it move away from your face)....., take some water in mouth, flush and replace reg. Signal okay and move on. All in perfect trim and buoyancy of course. :14:

So eat well before any dive, but during the day eat stuff that is easy on the system.

I was told a story of an American ship captured by the British - the Brits allowed the cook and a boy free (fromthe confines of the ship) to cook them dinner. Story goes, the cook made the most delicious meal out of the pork they had on board, fully knowing that pork and the high seas do not mix well. The Brits were served alll they could eat. In the end, the cook and the boy were able to free the crew and re-take the ship due to the sea-sick Brits not being able to respond.

Well that explains why the vis went to hell that day.......and I thought it was silt.

Every time I've had his sandwiches they were great.

I admit to eating cheese and grapes and all kinds of stuff while everyone else is puking all around me.(nurse) At least I have learned they don't appreciate being offered food while they are getting sick.... diving makes me ravenous and I am always eating all kinds of stuff on the surface interval and I never get seasick. It really rubs people the wrong way.

Doesn't anybody else eat Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries? And save the Crunch Berries for last?
