What does everyone eat before a dive?

The "diver's breakfast" at Atlantis Resort, Puert Galera, is particularly good - followed by lots of water right before the dive.

Nuthing..

I normally don’t eat much, or anything, before diving. Usually only a cup of coffee to wake up and then some water to hydrate. Maybe some small snacks during the surface intervals. I think diving, or the anticipation and preparation before a dive, suppresses any hunger.

I’ve found diving with a full stomach can be uncomfortable at best, and at worse.. well – at least the fish will be happy…..

What and how much I can eat after a day of diving is a totally different matter....

Sometimes the best part of diving is afterwards: the hot shower, the first cold beer and then being a complete pig in the kitchen, BBQ or restaurant…

Cheers,
Rohan.

BTW - did you know it takes a long time to pluck lemongrass out of a second stage while being mobbed by fish....

i drink water and a dr pepper to wake up thats about it i relly stay away from gresse foods and foods that will give me gas if i do eat
night befor i eat posta exp if its a all day diving

A coffee, Clif 'Builders' bar, lots of water....in that order:wink:

Gatorade and granola. I don't like doing much on a full stomach, and prefer to load up on calories with less filling foods.
